The Startup Team for TDDM were simply EMUN 8.0 students who had their own visions of creating the world a better place. Each individual had their own community resolution, but did not know how to effectively raise awareness about it.
​
When Melisa founded the TDDM podcast, the creation of the startup team not only focused on building TDDM a platform for themselves, but for the future where anyone can have their voices be heard.
RAMISA CHOWDHURY
Script and Research
Michelle is a senior at Thomas A. Edison C.T.E High School and the Head Delegate of EMUN 8.0.
On the TDDM podcast team, she oversees the creation of the script along with Melisa and assist in finalizing research for each episode.

Her community resolution focuses on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of Asian discrimination . She has extensively researched this topic and wishes to raise awareness through the platform of TDDM.
RUKIYA TASNIM
Research
Rukiya is a senior at Thomas A. Edison C.T.E High School and a delegate of EMUN 8.0.
On the TDDM podcast team, she assists in finding accurate and impartial sources of research for each episode.

Her community resolution is about the teen vaping crisis. She is tackling this crisis by raising awareness and providing preventative measures.
Ramisa is a senior at Thomas A. Edison C.T.E High School and a delegate of EMUN 8.0.
On the TDDM podcast team, she assists in finding accurate and impartial sources of research for each episode.

Her community resolution focuses on non-native English speakers and improving translation for them within NYC schools. She has also extensively researched immigration and wishes to raise political awareness and her resolution through the TDDM platform.
Research
Rafinal is a senior at Thomas A. Edison C.T.E High School and a delegate of EMUN 8.0.
On the TDDM podcast team, he does the camera work and sets up any technical devices for the recording session.

His community resolution focuses on his shop class Computer Networking/Cyber Security. He has diligently devised a box with two of his colleagues that teaches the basics of computer networking and cyber security. He wishes to share this Shop in a Box and their official "CNC" Box website through the TDDM podcast.

Lukus is a senior at Thomas A. Edison C.T.E High School and a delegate of EMUN 8.0.
On the TDDM podcast team, he assists in editing and creating unique graphics for each episode.

His community resolution focuses on teenagers and their use of marijuana and informing them of the negatives.

Brian is a senior at Thomas A. Edison C.T.E High School and a delegate of EMUN 8.0.
On the TDDM podcast team, he helps with the music, song selection, and/or sound effects of each episode.

His community resolution highlights the problem with the rising dilemma of teen suicide. He has researched how much hotlines have made a significant impact on the numbers. Through the use of the podcast to advertise on school IDs, he hopes to spread awareness on mental health.

Stephanie is a senior at Thomas A. Edison C.T.E High School and a delegate of EMUN 8.0
On the TDDM podcast team, she oversees social media outreach and monitors the podcasts Twitter and Instagram.
Her community resolution highlights the issues revolving around sexual harassment and racism on the New York City MTA buses and trains.

On the TDDM podcast team, she assists in contacting guests for the episodes and focuses on outreach.

Her community resolution came to be when she realized that in the school curriculum, cyberbullying is not talked about much in regards to the consequences, and how badly it can affect people.
